The individual doing the work has explained them to me a couple of times, but I have not done it myself to understand it fully, sounds like the bolt on the top of the assembly that holds the bar used for steering leaks and inorder to get to it you have to pull the whole assembly apart. If you look a the picture of the TA on the bench you can see the rust forming at the top of it where the water was coming in and then dripping down into the bilge.

We are trying some things, but open to other ideas that dont involve drilling more holes in the transom if anyone has any.

Put the new exhaust tails on and they dont angle down as much as the stock ones did that go down to the Y pipe. Also, the stock tips were straight through mufflers without a flange so they could angle up a bit more. They are going to buy different tips that dont have a flange and then use a a different seal setup.
