IMO, the REAL question is: How do you plan on fueling your boat. 525's run on 87 octane, 600 SCi's need 93 octane and many bigger and more exotic motors require racing gas.
I don't know the answer but you should before you buy. Maybe there's website someplace that has info on all the marinas and gas stations on the southwast Texas coast. Your gonna need a lot of it and often.

Easy there ! Not tryin to piss you off.......You started with the top 3 of Offshore boats..VERY impressive list !!....I guess I was just hopping that one ride at 80 in 2s would not sway you from your list...
BTW....My 38 wont even run 80 !!
....But any conditions ?
Oh Yea !!
Again....No harm meant

If you think OSO is expensive just wait until someone asks you to pay for a Top Gun 39 Unlimited or Nor-Tech or Outerlimits

Hello,
I'm not able to send you a PM but if you would like to talk about the Nor-Techs, I would love to hear from you.
I promise to limit the BS to 85%!
Thanks,

In reality, a Fountain 48 diesel cruiser is capable of same cruise speeds over long distances.
I don't understand why most of the dealers I've talked to recommend this very combination as the Cigarette to "start and learn with". I'm no superman, but if I bought a similar boat, I'd be done with it in 3 months. Come to think of it, I've just answered my own question about the dealers...
Frustration has never been this rewarding.
