Anodizing Aluminum Treadplate
Will be replacing the rubber treadplate in the engine compartment of my 382 with aluminum treadplate this winter.
What is the best way to protect/maintain appearance?
Anodized the same in my 311 ... it seemed to work well.
Anyone do this around Toledo?

Re: Anodizing Aluminum Treadplate
If you want to maintain the polished/brushed appearance of aluminum treadplate, this stuff works great

Unbelevably tough and easy to apply yourself. It doesn't have a great shelf life so order only what you need and use it within 90 days.
