As I have my boat for sale right now in a very soft market it is hard enough to sell a boat, but to have a buyer and seller agree on terms and a third party screws it up, that just plain sucks for all parties involved....

I have found out that it's best to try to get resolve without smearing the persons name all over OSO. Hopefully he will make good on all the problems. I guess I learned something from our 'ol friend Fred @ Trick. I call him....."The voice of reason"

Thanks guys! I hope to have this worked out as well. I still have not heard from jim. Gerard talked to him yesterday and told him to call me..well he didn't so the Sheriff is now involved. He has really screwed this up and I have had enough!!!! Joe you have had enough chances!

I'm sorry to hear about all these problems with local mechanics. I've never used the one in question. But i will give my recomendation for anyone looking for some work to be done. American Performance Marine in edgewater did a big job for me this spring and were thorough, honest, and easy to get a hold of.

Trader1 and I just got off the phone with the mechanic. We had a long conversation and he said he would deposit the money into my account ($1,957) and the parts (2 sets of CMI's, 1 500EFI head and 1 Bravo1 XR drive) by tonight.
We are hoping he comes through and we can get this over with.
