Exactly. I was not stating that Fountain was using Arneson Surface Drives on their 35' 525 hp- 103 mph boat, rather that times have changed and peoples views need to change to reflect reality and the times. I would love to see that boat with a set of #7M's but that is another story.
Now, Fountain does use the Arneson Surface Drives on their; 38' 42', 47', 48' and new 52' boat. These are diesel packages of course but a diesel does not make the Arneson work or not work.
Bill Mazzoni (TABOO) has a new 42' Fountain Super V (SBI) with Arneson's and 525 Merc engines and the boat runs great. Until he had engine problems, he lead Key West 05' Super V class.

I was at the factory for a plant tour...great place to visit!! While down there last week the new 35 was just coming in from a test with full fuel and 5 people on board....102-103 down river and 100 up river with maximus props. With Herrings I am told at least a 2-3 MPH increase!!! What can I say...it's a Fountain!! PS. Reggie was driving.

All these posts and not one mention of Trenton Marine ??? 
As I inderstand it, there is one dealer that has been replaced by Trenton Marine.
That sure leaves a lot of inventory for someone that no longer is on the Dealer list....
Surely someone out of the 150 dealers that attended must of heard about this....

The closest competitor to the new 38SFC would be the Grady White 360. That boat is 2 feet shorter and will only run 42 mph with comparible power (3 outboards). The Fountain is faster, more fuel efficient, and cheaper!
