The rougher the better. The harder the turn the better, a dime is a big turn. I am getting sucked in here that is why I never posted I miss it to much.

Forrest Barber is that you?

2nd that.
Every boat has it's positives and negatives.
Under 20' I would put my Nova Marine - Nova19 against any boat but it's not an ocean boat.

MiniHawk 12-11-2010 03:59 PM

39' Cigarette from Manhasset bay. Runs 100 mph and does excellent in the rough. It's an 'ol 3 man bolster boat and it sounds nasty!!

For raceboats there can be only one- Buzzi's La Gran Argentina.
55 ft, 135 mph, 4000 hp and a race-record that proves everything.
It would eat up ANY other raceboat in the rough.

am a little late to the party here - just having read all the threads - many boats have the ability to go fast- but dont - Its the drivers- and throttle men who make them go - Having interviewed many over the years - two stick out in my mind - Ben Kramer - and Peter from AlliViete - I hope some one can post one of each of their interviews - Once you see these guys - you realize a lot- Ben was Ben - but when you see Peter - you would never think he would run a boat like that - a class act - and a hell of a nice guy - just my two cents - Phil

now - some one find interviews with both - and post them - T2X ?

Wow, the boat was flying in the last (1991 KW) video!

Allicat38 12-12-2010 09:13 AM

The best 20 ft and under goes to the 20 cigerette. I had one for 8 yrs and with it you can hang well with the big boys comfortably .

I should have never sold it.:lolhit:

I have been curious about the new 41 too. Does anyone know how the steps affected the hull. How much more speed vs. comparable power, how it affected ride and stability in the rough. Havent seen anything posted on it recently. Would love to see what one with big power does

I know there was a lot of drama cookin with this one, but even unfinished, overweight, tacky add ons & all it still goes through some heavy seas. It stays!

How about adding some rough sea video's of your favorite brand powerboat? Make the thread better, we can all argue after the Holidays......LOL!

Viperfitness1 12-15-2010 05:02 PM
