The Avalanche 1500s do have weak rear suspension (coil springs). Remember, they are same EXACT truck as a 1500 Suburban, and yet they advertise putting a bike or a quad in the back of the AV.

BTW, Madcow's AV was 1500, and he was WAY overloaded for his tow rating; not to mention the big bling wheels and tires.
