Question Cushioned trailer hitch ball mounts - all hype or what?

Saw these cushioned ball mounts. The idea behind them sounds good (less abuse on the drivetrain), but does anybody have more info on these things? They run about $50 I think.

Thumbs up Cushioned receivers...

Kook,
Having pulled with both, the cushioned DEFINITELY has less jolt than a solid receiver. You don't feel the start, stop, start associated with towing near as bad, and stopping is much easier. Well worth the $50!!!

I bet they do not have a high tow rating. Would be nice though.

Found them here and they show a 10,000# rating. I may have to get one of these...
