I tried this thread a few weeks ago in another area, and only got a few good replys. So now we're tring the General Discussion area.
Looking for Pros and Cons of vinyl and paint graphics, other than "Vinyl is less $$" and "Paint lasts longer."
What are the limitations of each?
How do you repair scratched vinyl?
Can vinyl have a gloss like clearcoat?
Can vinyl survive below the waterline?
Up close, does paint look better?
Etc, etc.
Details welcomed
-thanx

If you have the money and don't mind the "permanency" go with paint. Vinyl can be changed more easily and obviously costs less money but just doesn't have the shine and luster of paint.
