Pepe said something nice about me and I was relating from my history; Before I go on here I want to say something , the 70’s shop I was working in had a flow of offshore racers coming through our front office that were like the Who’s Who of the sport in those days.
Now the One who spent time in the Back talking to us was Pepe see the difference? I do not forget that. My humblest Thanks Pepe for your kind words.

Here we step back a bit, you can see the very simple plywood frames and the way the vent was created here.

The T-4 Plywood frames ,on this job we used the corrected Cad Files less 1.125" for the Shell thickness and had Marine Concepts cut them for me, one day!! saving a week and only cost @ $2500.00 If I recall the amount correctly ,Now usually I loft full size, Always have, but here there was no space and I saved Time.

I was training my guys as we went and the Key here is to remove "thinking" so everything was pattern cut. Good kid here so I taught him a great deal about the Epoxies and glass work.

Getting there, The outside Glass work is done and ready for the strakes the Sp Epoxy and hardener system I was using had no real smell in fact the buildings owner (no boat building allowed) came in and asked what I was doing (laminating a entire 41' side with 5 layers of material no less ) I said gluing this stuff down with a epoxy glue, he smiled and left. sealed the Vacuum Bag and let it happily cure over night.
