Power takes fuel, older diesels like the 97 F250 I had got decent milage (20mpg@65mph,tuner,downpipe,exhaust) but made less hp,
the new diesels make way more power and the trucks themselves have gotten bigger and heavier at the same time so they suck down more fuel,simple as that, in my opinion most that have them just have them because they want the biggest and baddest , nothing wrong with that but dont ***** about fuel economy when you buy a 450hp 9000lb battleship to cruise as your grocery getter..
That H2 should be a cool hotrod when its done and its tuned

bad azz project! i'm wondering if i should sell mine or do this conversion........ any other pics or details on how the conversion is going? i love the idea of getting rid of the awd and having the power of a dmax.
