I would like to thank everyone that contributed to the Friends of Doug Lewis and the Malia Brothers College Trust Fund. We raised a total of 1,519.00 in under three hours. I would like to thank Tim Sharkey, Mike Merola, all the Ladies from the NPBA, Billy Frenz, Darren Luhrs and the incredibly handsome Rich Luhrs for helping me out at the last minute.
I would like to apologize to all the people that did not go out on the Linssen who were invited - especially Mike Merola. We were told at 10:15 a.m that we were a VIP boat and that we had to run over to Chelsea Piers along with Post Time (DJD and Waterspeed) to pick up the fire fighters, police men, and victoms - by 10:30. There was no one at Chelsea Piers, probably because of the weather. Then we were asked to sstay out there and, whatever. Thank you DJD and Marcus for letting me hop aboard to shoot from the flybridge.
After I cook dinner for my dad, I'll get the photos up. My internet connection is down in Jersey, and I'm on his computer.
Best regards,
Jennifer

Jen that is some boat you have there. Sorry to here about the mess. It sounds like you need a plumber. I hope the photos you have are better than mine. I had the wrong speed film so quite a few didn't come out that well. I cant wait the see the one of us holding up the OSO banner. Anyway here are a few shots I took during the parade to the G.W. bridge. . ..
This is a photo of Sharky at the front of the line. I think it was the only time he was close to the lead.
