Dear Hot Boat:

I just posted the photo of your boat with the OSO banner on the PowerboatingCharities.com web site along with two others. I shot these on the digital. I'll have my film tomorrow. I had both cameras going at the same time. I love doing powerboat photograpy. I don't know what it is. I tingle everytime my finger releases the shutter. AND, I slept with my Queen of the Hudson trophy last night.......

http://powerboatingcharities.com/NY2...poker2002.html

It was truly an awesome experience. It always is.

Did anyone see that 32-foot Catalina (sail boat) that was feverishly trying to maneuver out of the way when they saw 175 high-performance powerboats aimed directly at them? That was definitely a Holy $hit moment.

I'll get more photos up later.

Jennifer

Thumbs up

Jennifer I usually don't say things like this but I wish I was that trophy last night. Just kidding..... Please let us know when your website is finished and I am not talking about the photo section. It looks like a very helpful cause. It is very generous of you to put together such a site to help the less fortunate.

Sharky The only thing I did was brighten them up a bit. That is all You

I need a new camera or photography lessons.

Thanks Paul! It's not often I get to see what it looks like. Now I know what all the talk on the dock was about...

Default Nice to finally associate some faces with names.

Jill, It was nice to finally (officially) meet you and Steve seems like a really nice guy also.

Tony, I enjoyed shooting the preverbial **** with you.

Glad you guys finally made it back to Gully's, when I got back, I was running on fumes also and could have used a fuel dock myself.

I look forward to meeting up with you guys out on the Hudson...

P.S. lets hope this weather gets a lot better..

Dear Hot Boat: Thank you for your kind words. I was teaching a photography class when I was still in college. I will be more than happy to give you a lesson. I have a book for you.

The jury is still out on digital cameras as far as I am concerned. I need more time with the camera to make a professional recommendation.

I have about 75 digital photos online. I shot most of the actual run on film and will have the photos back tonight or tomorrow. Please be patient.

ENJOY.
