Back in the mid/late 80's we sold Eliminator Boats from Wisconsin.
The ONLY thing they had in common with the west coast boats was the name.
We saw tons of glass & rigging problems.
Bottoms with a hook so severe it was obvious without a straight edge, debris in the glass, engine brackets that weren't mounted level, the list goes on and on…we even had one that when started wouldn't shut off…we had dropped them long before they left Shawano
If I recall correctly one of the owners…a guy named "Baker" ? (lots of deceased brain cells since then) started another boat company called Rapid Craft. I aways wanted to take a good look at one of those see if they were put together the same way.
