What do you do if you have daytime running lights and just sitting at the ramp
, is everyone just waiting on you to retrive your boat even though you dont have a trailer? do they assume that the trailer is still attached to the boat for ease of hooking up. Never heard of this before.

Maybe he's trying to start a "new thing." Also, during the day trailer lights are very difficult to see.

I'm glad to hear so many "Not in my state" replies. My wife and I are proud of the fact that she can back a trailer better than most at pretty much any ramp. This guy did make her feel kinda stupid.....but she still got the trailer in, in one shot.......and without lights.
Now for the comment about "Her" headlights being on, I think you got it! They usually are on.
I'll do the math on the state check-in's later, gotta go to work.
