How much boost? Larger prop is not going to lower the boost, it will just lower the RPM and be more prone to detonation. That will be your biggest hurdle in the Texas heat. Iron heads, boost, **** ty fuel, and HEAT!

is there a reason you think 4lbs is to much , i would think even 6 lbs would be safe on 93

2.3l whipple, max boost is 4.0lbs is what i was told... I'm new to the sc motor world but getting it down pretty quick! I have had the boost up to 5.5 but rev limit was met and had throttle left, I hit 81on gps but it started to walk on me, hydraulic steering before I play there again, tried pushing thru it but ran into boat traffic, not sure if it would have settled down at higher speed or not!

That is a whipple package. You need to talk to them about it. Dustin is on here often...he can tell you what pulley/boost you should be running.

I very much doubt that is the max boost for that charger...maybe for your engine, not for the whipple.

Thanks, I'll look for him, don't want to damage anything, also, the motor can handles 4.0lbs pretty easy, I've been higher but it hit rev limit, 28p prop should drop the rpms and help out, haven't had time test it.

2.3 will make way more then 4.0lbs as long as your motor can handle it. Talk to Dustin he will know better then anyone , if you are hitting the limiter then you need more prop. You might try a 30 pitch
