I agree, if we for whatever reason was stuck and had no way out... I would love to see what other option there was besides beaching it...

I would have thought he would have tried to find a low spot in the swell like he did the first one he went over. Hard to say, I wasn't there. That's nuts! I was thinking "my back"!!!

If you watched the video, you can see the last big wave was gonna break if he kept going, so I assume thats why he turned into it... there was now way to have room to turn around and go the other direction...
