As for "what do you guys recommend?"

Well, I may be called a pu$$y, but, considering there where other people in the boat, I would probably have beached the thing and waited for a trailer.

I would have done the same thing, beach is not an option if I was out there. and it looked as it was about to break over so he had to go.

Things are always easy to say, until you find yourself in a mess, I been there many times with many different things, I try to look at the big picture...god that boat slamming back down had to HURT

I launched my Mistress enough this summer high enough there was 2ft between my feet and the floor of the boat, when I landed back in the boat it kinda hurt, my bow was approx 16ft high, boat came down way faster then I did.....

Agreed, however, I don't recall anyone having trouble passing judgement on the guy who crashed the Fountain awhile back, on the other hand, anyone who Critisized any of the "My Way" crashes where instantly flamed?

Hope everyone in the boat is OK and learned a lesson.
