reviving old thread im going thru this now..guy who was making me stand ups flaked out never even started them.. I found some cool old sit down skater type seats..wondering if I should go for it,, afraid not going to be high enough ,, that 30 superboat looks to low

Just make the stands higher. The seat and the stand are separate pieces.

As to the original question. Sit downs all the way in either boat. Proven fact that standup's are worse for the back, spine and kidney's.

As Mark at Activator/Rage put it standing up is a thing of the past everyone is sitting down now. My Donzi is getting PPI buckets over the winter.

I can't do it.

I have tried and it is not for me at all. I really enjoy and like standing up while driving the boat.

up to 2 footers I sit and over that I stand for a better view of whats coming at me.
funny thing,I have an air ride base from a Freightliner that I was going to adapt to my boat.
