I don't own a fountain but I'm tirelessly working to own one. They are by far my favorite boat. In my opinion no one has styling even close. Don't care if a 35 is 22 feet or whatever else BS Slower boats claim. Someone pull a string line down the keel to the beak and tell me the open area is significant in weight or room. Doubt it.
It makes a difference when your in 4-6 footers and you would love to have that extra few feet under you !!

So comments about nobody being hurt by poor business decisions?
What about the investors (backers who bought into Reggie's sales pitch), shareholders who purchased stock to a publicly traded company and were NEVER made whole?
Great boat, several accomplishments, but poor business decisions.
Just saying.

The LOA argument is by far the stupidest thing I have ever heard. All molded swim platform boats must count LOA, fountain like everyone else added it as a convenience for pleasure boating....not to make their boat appear to be bigger. Fountain actually kept the old number on the boat with the swim platform for 1 year, the 10 meter was listed as a 33 with the platform.....but guess what kids, LOA is LOA and the coast guard wants it that way. They don't want what your running surface is, or what the boat used to be before someone decided that a molded platform with a ladder is great for beaching....they want the length of the boat. The beak on a fountain makes a statement that can be seen across the lake, un-mistakable lines. It's there for a reason, and the reason is not length.
