What to do on super chiller
I'm having a 540 or 572 built for my 26 eliminator Daytona. We pulled the old engine out and it originally had some good parts but I'm not gonna cut corners like they did (long story) . What I need to know is what to do with chiller . Should it be ran on separate pump or off engine?.. Or is there a big sea pump that can push the heck out of water. I have one pump now and it feeds everything including the b-max outdrive too I think .

Just use a separate transom mounted pickup that force feeds the intercooler. It doesn't have to be hooked up to a pump. It works on water pressure alone. Works great. That's how we do every one.

Like Mike said, if you do a lead-in in the bottom, the pickup doesn't actually hang down below the bottom.
Here are a few pics of one that I did recently. These were for an intercooler pickup.
