If the Powerboat industry kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 boats that got 1,000 MPG.

In less enlightened times, the best way to impress women was to own a hot boat. But women wised up and realized it was better to buy their own hot boats so they wouldn't have to ride around with jerks.

For when you see somebody running and they neglected to bring in the fenders..."must be a rental boat"
When we see an 18' rental boat with 8 people all wearing orange life jackets, a beat up pontoon full of college kids, or somebody acting like a jackass, we will comment "that's contagious" (meaning stay the fock away like they have a deadly disease)
One of my kids (like 15 years ago) used to called "fenders" bouys, and at one time it sounded like they were saying "boobies". Now when we are pulling into some docks one of us will say, "get out the boobies". When we have guests with us, they look at us a bit perplexed.
