The Porsche/Kineo boats with the 928 engine were Berkley style Jet boats. Pretty sure they were also made of Kevlar.
I have lots of different pics and info if anyone is interested. I also have a couple of friends that have some of the marine kits for the Porsche V8. One of them is using part of it for a retro tunnel boat project with a Porsche 16V V8 engine in it.

pretty high on the "gee-whiz" scale but that had to be a slug at a 28 foot single with three hundred hp and a Berkley. That tunnel should draw small crowd looks cool
