We will be side by side in Miami and I would consider it an honor to be able to swap seat time with Mike and critique each other's boats followed by a few beers on the dock.
We aren't selling Ford vs. Chevy. It's a different fit for all these guys.

I cant explain the feeling you get sitting in that seat. Its tingly to the genitals. That red carbon fiber vinyl feels great on your bare ass too, just gets a little hot in the sun. Mike kept reaching towards my shaft thinking he was driving his old Fountain, or so he said that's why he was.

1. The 36 OL looks like a Baja
2. The AT performs like a Baja
3. Be brand loyal regardless of what the facts are, just cheerlead and bash the other guy.

So, one experience on one poker run, with one boat, with one owner; and a magazine test from 15 years ago on antiquated technology...

What if the guy had a hurt motor?
What if he was borrowing his buddy's smaller props because he damaged his the day before?
What if he had his 70 year old Dad on board and didn't want to risk injury?
What if he was out there for a good time and didn't give a rats ass about anyone waiting for him because he knew the free food at the next stop was going to taste like chit?
(I've been in every one of those situations myself on organized runs.)
A 25AT with HP500, 4 big guys, enough luggage for 2 weeks, and enough beer for a month...

But I like the part about 4 guys jammed into a 25ft boat. We've all been there and that was some of the best times boating " we're gonna get chicks", not really. That story coupled with the other thread about eating a crockpot full of chilly and 3 dozen stemmed clams.

I don't think anybody is offended, at least i hope not. We're just cuttin it up and havin fun. Its a long winter and if we can't boat at least we can talk about it. At the end of the day, I'm still happy to see a fellow boater on the water no matter what kind or size.

Yea your boat is faster this year because I'm opting for a genset and air this summer instead of whipples. P.S. Nice mention about your family in the other article on the front page.
