Hey Missbehavin777, I was just yankin' your chain a bit and making sure the 275/315/DOT Radial/ Factory Stock guys got their "props" for racing. (I said "props", hence, it is still a boat thread...)

Only 16 lbs at 7200. It's got big solid roller and big heads. Anymore and a small shot would be needed to cool the air charge. Though, lately my money is going into the boat. Which is leaving the window open for my car friends winter upgrades to cause me to rethink that. Just enough toys not enough time and money.

No worries. Just wanted to clarify what I meant. Some sick radials out there as12m Joe showed us. Just some think throwing slicks on makes it a race car and that makes no sense. So lets KNOT get of track.

Oh well it is what it is. Best I can do. Lol
And thanks! Wish I never got rid of it but boating is more fun for myself. Between race fuel, nos, plugs, and oil changes, the boat isn't much more expensive for the weekend and I hang out with girls now instead of a bunch of dudes looking in engine bays.

Yes sir. Even after switching to the whipple 3.4 to try and fight the heat soak issue It had stock rails, and intake. By the time I was finished, I had swapped the IRS to solid, the 3.4 whipple, 345 drag radials, return style fuel system, 60lb injectors, with a big fuel pump, crower Cams and Full length headers with 3in all the way to back. Funny thing is I ran my best time with the kenne bell 2.2 @ 26lbs of boost with a 150 shot. Once I did all that work I kept popping head gaskets and could never get it dialed again.

I wouldn't do this with 100hp. I really don't understand people sometimes. I see this a lot around my area. Another thing that pisses me off is when you start racing somebody or they do a fly by right after they immediately take it off plane they shut it down. Ummmm hello aren't you going to let the valves cool down. Then they fire it back up and 100% throttle. My 87 IMP has the original TRS and It's still smooth as butter!
