My last street car had a 7500 rpm 454. ( boat clearenced motor ) i had a huge cam w no low end and a 900 stall (no stall). You push the pedal down skow and it would not spin (highway gears). But when she hit 4 grand all hell would break loose . she ran 12's w 14 inch radials. Just before the trapps i would get it into drive.Yea, it was a she

I had an 03 cobra that made 750rwhp and 750rwtq, 9.90@143, 315 nitto drag radials and i would launch it as hard as i could without a problem, stock irs and axles. Now, the irs is the weak point on those cars unless you hooked. If you broke them loose and stayed in it till they hooked again....BOOM goes the rearend and/or half shaft. Sure do miss the street racing scence!


oh and i used to work construction also and had my fair share of busting concrete with sledge hammers.

Was the track by the Ocean with these 12' waves??
