And thanks! Wish I never got rid of it but boating is more fun for myself. Between race fuel, nos, plugs, and oil changes, the boat isn't much more expensive for the weekend and I hang out with girls now instead of a bunch of dudes looking in engine bays.

According to some on this thread, non of the above matters, because that's not a "real race car" because it doesn't have "tires bolted to the rims" . I think sub-10s in a door slammer is pretty darn respectable (beadlocks/liners not withstanding). I also think that car handed me my azz when I dummied a 1/2 shift on my ZX12. Luckily, I rarely miss shifts with my boat. (See, still a boat thread).

Lol yep I remember that. Good times! Me and my buddy with a silver cobra used to run together everywhere and beat up on old school hot rods(only cause they usually would look over and laugh) They would have blowers sticking out of their hoods with slicks and we would leave them wondering what happened. Nowadays it's nothing to come across a 9 second street car, they're everywhere (big turbo cars)

Painted this car for a buddy last october. The first thing I painted fir him was a boat. (21 footer w a blown560) This is his kids car. 8 sec. W a single 4bl. We pushed it in the booth. But i fired it up to drive it out. Man that thing shook the whole block! 4" flowmaster exhaust. Street strip car
