Oh well it is what it is. Best I can do. Lol

And thanks! Wish I never got rid of it but boating is more fun for myself. Between race fuel, nos, plugs, and oil changes, the boat isn't much more expensive for the weekend and I hang out with girls now instead of a bunch of dudes looking in engine bays.

According to some on this thread, non of the above matters, because that's not a "real race car" because it doesn't have "tires bolted to the rims" . I think sub-10s in a door slammer is pretty darn respectable (beadlocks/liners not withstanding). I also think that car handed me my azz when I dummied a 1/2 shift on my ZX12. Luckily, I rarely miss shifts with my boat. (See, still a boat thread).

Yeah, a few years ago, southbound Gratiot. Blue/Gold ZX12, I caught up by the time we hit the bus stop in front of Macomb Mall.

Well considering he's running radial tires and not slicks it would be hard to bolt them to the rim. I was referring to just throwing slicks on... Well if you have real horsepower that won't work you spin them right off the rim. Sorry not all race cars run slicks I should have been more specific.

Lol yep I remember that. Good times! Me and my buddy with a silver cobra used to run together everywhere and beat up on old school hot rods(only cause they usually would look over and laugh) They would have blowers sticking out of their hoods with slicks and we would leave them wondering what happened. Nowadays it's nothing to come across a 9 second street car, they're everywhere (big turbo cars)

Don't need no big block to go 9's. Got boost? Oh, and air conditioning.
