Is the one ya pay $50 a lot better than the free one.... Cuz I don't really like the free app. It works but not to many features !

I never had the free one but the $50 one has everything Ive ever needed.

For the USA and Canada map app its only 9.99, you might be looking at the "HD MAP" which I dont think is worth the extra $$. Downloand the $10 regualr app and it does everything you need.

I honestly have up on unsung mine..... You just can't see it in the sun.... Sucks cuz it's so close to working well.

Paid bonuses?

I also used the free one but didn't have what I wanted. Does the paid version have things like speed, course, ete, eta distance, etc. that you can have on the screen like a dedicated (ex. Garmin) marine gps?

Never mind HyFive I went to their site and ordered the locking case holder and mounts. Nice stuff.
