Exactly, looking at budget crank and rods I have some friends around here with connections for parts, I can get a deal on Manley it seems, h beams with arp2000 for just about 400-425 cost....looking into what cranks and a buddy can get racer discount at summit and they local to me..., looks like Ohio crankshaft has very good prices... Also local

I got Compstar cranks for about 675.00. They were on the money on size and all journals were straight and within a couple of tenths of each other. A lot of low dollar cranks need work before you can use them. Eats up all of your savings.

what size rods are in this motor?? 6.??? also some machinest will take off a little in that spot when ballancing the assy but it does look like it taped the crank's counter weight.. does it show a sign of it being internally balanced? small harmonic ballancer and no weight on the flywheel..
