Anything I buy is going to be machined and rebalanced to perfection so it does not really matter, I would never just install a crank and rods, my machinist pits clearances where I want them and such, I don't trust anything out of the box.

what size rods are in this motor?? 6.??? also some machinest will take off a little in that spot when ballancing the assy but it does look like it taped the crank's counter weight.. does it show a sign of it being internally balanced? small harmonic ballancer and no weight on the flywheel..
