Waze is incredibly helpful. Just pay it back by posting when you see something that has not been reported.

the new Tahoe's have a radar anti collision system on the rear. sets my valentine off a mile back on level roads. A real PITA.

ironically it was kinda hard to, anything I saw was already reported. From viewing active users around me there really are alot of eyes out there within this app. I did get stuck by a train at one point and couldn't find a icon for that but I'm sure its there.

My g/f and I both use Valentines and like them.

What is the legality of radar jammers?

Regarding the radar anti-collision system... I pick up X-band on truckers occasionally. Anyone know why that might be?

I got a "wreckless driving" and an "imprudent speed" while using the V1. It never went off and we were going very fast both times. The cops are allowed to write tickets anyways even if not caught on radar or laser. Sucks.

I use a Valentine, but used to have a couple of Escorts. I like the Valentine best overall, but I did like the mute button on the power adapter feature of the Escort best.

Probably using VASCAR.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VASCAR

No radar or laser needed, all timing and stripes. This is how aircraft enforcement works.

Also, be careful speeding on toll roads, especially those with gates at the end.
If you reach the "end" faster than you should have given your "begin" location; sometimes they won't open the gate. The cop just walks out and writes you a ticket based on your "trap" speed. I've seen it happen on the PA Turnpike.
