For the most part I consider the Nor-Tech 340 & 390 Sport CC's well rounded hybrids w/ the ability to suit both fisherman, occasional fisherman or pleasure only boater. Nor-Tech offers a 39 Super Fish for the all out fisherman.

Pretty sure his "coolness" factor has already been established in his life, and in many eyes it just increased 10 fold with this boat.

I don't know about coolness factor but Pete280 isn't far off. I've been fortunate enough to have owned a 130mph+ cat for 5yrs & I enjoyed some great boating but it was too single purpose, somewhat small & limiting for the speed capability. You can only run 100+ so often for so long where I boat regularly so that gets old quick until you can get to the next poker run event. The CC will allow me to boat anytime of the day or night year round in most conditions. I'm looking forward to BOATING.

While my last boat was not near as fast as yours, I too went from a cat (30 Motion) to a center console (27 Concept). It used to make me made when people said my cat was "single purpose" or "limited purpose"... now I agree with them. Sure its not as fast, loud or flashy, but is reliable, fun and versatile. And... you're definitely right about extending your boating hours and season - we have had our Concept for a little over 2 years now and I have had more enjoyable boating days (and nights) than ever before. Hopefully we'll be moving up to a larger custom CC in the future. Good luck with your new build - you're in great hands with Nor-Tech.
