They did offer them initially when 340's were first introduced but haven't been available for quite a few yrs. I want to believe it's cost prohibitive structurally.

For whatever reason a 390 only has one walkway beside the rear bench whereas the 340" has 2, one each side and the benches are the same size ???

390 has and option for an L shaped back seat, or at least they did a few years back, therefore the one walkway. I asked about it for the 340 and it is not an option because of the walkway on both sides.

I wasn't aware of the L shape option but I too asked for only 1 walkway beside the 340 rear bench but N/A. Why I'm not sure. My reasoning is to minimize the amount of water that comes over the stern when you come off plane. There's plenty of room to walk across the stern of the boat behind the bench. They make the starboard inserts to achieve the same thing but not a big fan of those.

Terry told me it would be a major mold change, which it would be. Agree with you that we only need one entrance and there is plenty of room to walk across the stern. I would have ordered the L-shape seat if it had been available. Makes for a great chit chat area for the women.

I'm no boat builder but normally you can place an insert in the mold so as not to have to build or modify the mold.
