I was at the factory three weeks ago checking on progress of my build. It seems that blue is the favorite color by far. Most of the boats near completion seemed to have a shade of blue as the dominant color in the scheme.
Nascat are are you having the bottom painted black? I know they can mix a color into the gel coat when laying the boat up, but I believe if you do that the color is the same from the rub rail down.
I like that dark dark bottom look, curious what’s the best way to accomplish that?

Jax,
I tend to agree w/ you on the blue and I started down that path w/ a color called Silverstone found on BMW's but I felt like it took the sportiness look away from the boat & would make it look like a tender color matched to it's mother ship.
You are correct the entire hull will be black gel so everything above the chines & transom will need to be painted. It's not color added to white gel, they order black gel. I say this b/c they insisted that I commit to a decision no later than last Fri as it must be ordered which means I'm definitely in the mold soon.

I want something that has some pop to it vs. Jet Black. Stumbled across this Cadillac color called Black Diamond. It came on CTS V's several years back. Nor-Tech is going to have a panel sprayed out for me to look at next week. Might be too bass boat metal flake for my liking.

Knot- this is where image #2 was derived from. I actually would like to incorporate the metallic silver too. The DCB stripes all appear to be metallic & really pop against what appears to be a pearl white base.
As I mentioned previously I try to keep the paint scheme's clean & timeless looking for the benefit of resale.
Can you tell I collect pics and ideas for the future even if the future never comes?
The DCB pic has to be 3yrs old.
Even has the black hull!

Kinda Funny.. Nortech copied my first 39 twice, when I *****ed they said it should be a honor because I have good taste. My second one Mitcher t copied it but with a different color. Oh well already thinking about colors/design for the next one.....

I like the red, it adds a little pop of color. I'd like to see what the first one would look like with the top strip in black and all the ones below in red. Maybe even do the top of the hardtop in black with the red trim... The black diamond paint is gorgeous but is a lot of flake and just hope it never has to be touched up, any heavy metallic is tough to blend but that one is a nightmare from what I've seen. If you use it I'd recommend it for a stripe not for large areas because it's so dominant when used with other colors, any colors around it need to also really pop or they end up looking dull.
Also I'd keep the console area white, the black may look cool but will end up hot to the touch for the sun and be a nightmare to keep clean with all the hand prints etc that will end up on it.

All great ideas and feedback. What is interesting is No One has mentioned image #3 which is where this all started & the one I like best and will probably pursue.
It was derived from the attached Cig and still needs some work but I try not to wear out Nor-Tech's graphic artist. Allot of time the final details are accomplished during the masking off of the boats and stripes.
Image #3 stripes need to taper as they approach the bow and wrap around the side.
The interior paint will most likely remain white similar to the 100mph 390 pictured. I'm undecided on the hardtop color, the edge and or underside.
The engine paint from a recent NT 450 I stumbled across which if you look close are actually brown & white.
The Black Diamond paint would only end up in the hull side stripes if at all. I just need to see it and agree it would be difficult to repair or blend.. As I mentioned I don't want plane solid color stripes. Looking for something different.
I also agree w/ the black interior paint being hot & non-functional as black looks best when it's shiny and clean & thats simply too much for a boat I plan to use and enjoy. In fact I already learned my lesson on the first 340 (pictured)
The interior upholestry and SeaDek flooring will be used to add some color and detail to the interior since I don't plan to paint the cockpit helm, seat stations or cooler.

Thats not something I'd be interested in.
I'm sure the gel is available since there are many bass and wake board boats w/ that look but keep in mind doing so would REALLY limit the resale market for me.
