Sad all the way around. Lost lives, prison time just because of some ****!ng alcohol. How in this day and age of information people still act like retards is astounding. Back in my day it was funny, I actually had cops pull us over to tell us to go drink and drive in our own state (live near the border of NY) when we were stupid kids. Drunk driving wasn't even on the radar back then, I'm as guilty as any of being an idiot +some back then. I'd like to believe in this day of awareness of the devastation alcohol can produce I'd be more responsible about it, I am now but I'm mature and the whole drunk thing is lost on my anymore.

I've also witnessed the devastating effects of alcohol addiction has on family being a first hand witness to it. It's not funny, nothing to take lightly, it ruins lives, devastates families and most importantly kids. It affects the family, network of friends, and the community...total misery.

Yep, apparently right thru it. You can see some damage on the starboard side along and below the midship cleat. I too am amazed at it's condition but it's prolly a lot worse in person. I think that's a Bayliner cruiser....enough said.

To Each their own.

Almost everyone out there has a vice. Some its Alcohol and some it's Pot.. Others maybe hooked on Xannix or Valiums. or Mcdonalds 1/4 pounders with cheese or Sweets.

Cigarettes------------ Need we say more.?

Kids don't drink anymore they do pills and whatever other new synthetic High is dreamed up for the month, that sooner or later ends up killing most of them that try it.

Drinking is a social event not a contest.

. Some people like a coffee. I prefer a beer or a wine. Some days if I feel like it a Martini or Margarita will wet my whistle.

I know a mid forties guy that gets falling down puking drunk at every event and wakes up and says I didn't do that and does it the next event.

Than there is people like me that have had a few too many over the years and when they feel they are approaching that feeling they reign it in and switch to water

.

I like a nice buzz--Drunk no

Not fair to throw everyone in the same bus.

Kinda like a Sailboater accusing the guy of having this accident being a irresponsible Offshore Powerboater because they all are that way the way they haul Azz and jump off waves all Willy Nilly.

Tommy, the thing that got me with this guy was the 4 DUI's and still out of control, taking other lives with his wild behavior. Also doing it with some girls powerboat, now she is in for some serious lawsuit action. As far as someone enjoying a few drinks, have at it. No harm, no foul.

Totally agree that is what bothers me. All the previous convictions.

What was this girl thinking allowing this Drunken Idiot to drive her boat.

And the guys that were in the boat not having enough balls to tell him he ain't driving or don't be drinking.and driving.

A person with 2 DUIs should be on a total a total alcohol ban and should not be allowed to blow nothing but triple zeros for 5 years and be subject to blood and random . breathalyzers

With todays cell phones they could call you anytime anywhere and you blow into a portable breathalyzer that would be in the phone app.

If you don't answer they come pick you up the next day and you do 30 days.

And another thing it is not the point 08s or even the point 11s that are killing people it is the point 2 0s and up

Let's hope that because this guy is a repeat DUI offender and finally killed 2 people, the law keeps him incarcerated for as long as possible. We shall see.
Rest assure that the victims family members will be at those future parole hearings giving statements how this repeat DUI offender affected their lives with his callous disregard for the law, culminating with him taking the lives of their loved ones.
