Drunk Baja boater gets 5 years prison

Federal Prison system does not use parole because they realize it is flawed and can release a dangerous criminal early. They do however provide a 15% sentence reduction for those convicted of lesser crimes and maintaining good behavior. I believe this is what you are referring to.

Tommy, the thing that got me with this guy was the 4 DUI's and still out of control, taking other lives with his wild behavior. Also doing it with some girls powerboat, now she is in for some serious lawsuit action. As far as someone enjoying a few drinks, have at it. No harm, no foul.
Now that I think about it, probably better off for the child having his dad I. Prison. At least this way the kid has a chance of turning out OK.

A friend of mine knows this guy through other friends. From what my buddy told me this guy is a class A D-Bag. The boat belongs to him, but registered thru the girlfriend. I assume due to his history of DUIs. I believe he has a young child as well, not sure if it is with the current girlfriend/registered boat owner. So not only has he taken a life from someone else's family, his child now has to spend his younger years without a father.
