I can't really tell who is who under all the screen names.

I would think if OL showed up at Eliminator doorstep with trucks demanding their IP (molds) and didnt get it we'd have all heard about this firsthand, but maybe not.

I would think the lawsuits would be flying and wed be reading about them online.

Exactly, I call 100% bullchit on that one. But, hearsay is good enough on OSO. At the very least I'm sure there is another side to the story.

5 for the hatch?!?!? trying to figure that out just real quick- 1 for a scoop, 1 for the flat part of the hatch, 1 for a brace + 2 more?

Whats the beam?

Innerlined - I would expect that from Ol (and demand that as a client of any of these boats)

Those two(2) carbon fiber accents along the hatch make up the other molds. Here's the Elim in Toronto ...

The beam was like 8' 1" I believe ...

Yeah, probably too much $$ to justify the expense given how few have been sold over the years, unless the tooling is a write-down for OL at this time. The classic "throwing good money after bad" proposition ?

And by the way Brian Forehands shop is not on the Pamlico river....it is in Wilmington Nc....the boat is routinely tested in the ocean
Good of you to put to rest the fiction about the boat's record. It's impressive enough without hyperbole.

Why hasn't Shueman commented? I mean it's not like he doesn't act like he represents Eliminator Boats on here.

My understanding is OL has been nicely requesting to have the molds returned for about a year and a half. I don't understand why Eliminator is not commenting unless they have something to hide. If they want to keep or make a copy of them, they should be renegotiating with OL to do so, but as it stands now, it's my understanding they are not their molds to keep.
