The boat ran Key West in 2012,2013 & 2014. Three races each year equals nine races @ thirty minutes per equals 4.5 hrs total time at speed. It ran Gulf races (Englewood, Clearwater) and Michigan City once but hasn't run Cocoa Beach. It ran Loto.
So, even if you are generous when calculating its utilization and multiply by a factor of four or five, you're only at twenty-odd to thirty hrs.
When you run the numbers according to the ad "Over $400k invested" and an asking price of $275,000, assuming the total cost of ownership is a discount to the $400k, let's say $375,000, you get:
TCO $375,000 minus sale price $275,000 equals $100,000 divided by utilization of 20 hrs equals $5,000.00 per hr depreciation.Even at 25 hrs you're looking at $4,000.00 per hr...exclusive of direct operating expenses (fuel, oil etc).

Well, when the boat was listed for sale the ad said "1-race (Key West 2014) and a total of less than 5-hours" when describing the NA engine then installed. Forehand's shop is on the Pamlico River in NC and it's been previously stated the boat was in Loto, neither of which is the "ocean".

I have seen the boat in many salt water poker runs around here. One happen to be on a day that had 15-20 northeast winds and crazy rough. It was rough enough that a few boats turned back around including a 42 fountain. Smokey mountain brewery was always the first boat at the card stops during that run.

Some dude in this thread totally knows all the hrs, money spent, and every detail about the boat.

Sorry if what I posted was read wrong, but I didn't mean that at all. I'm just posting what I have seen in person. I don't have a clue how many hours his boat has, I don't have a clue how much money was spent, and I definitely don't know what type of oil the smokey mountain brewery runs. Sorry again

Wrong. I've made no such claim. I don't give a damn about any single OL/Eliminator. The thread was about the SV29 production being moved to Eliminator and why there have only been 6 or so of the model built, and apparently how most of those built are for sale. Sorry if you can't do the math.
