Looks like a great boat. I don't have any props to try for those outdrives. Trouble free will be nice.

Hoping for some relatively trouble free 496HO boating hours.
Good survey then sea trial plus New Haul rite trailer, Seadek, wet sand and buff she should be good to go.

Yeah I thought so too, 2 owner boat, always fresh water and on a lift , low hours, only 52hrs on the generator, cuddy never used, seems like a winner..
Top speed is 62mph according to speed test.

Bad year for that Style of Faucets on that model Fountain.

Best case the endless dripping keeps you up all night and creates madness.

Worst case the faucets drip so much that when you open the hatch the inside of the bilge lives up to what the boats look like from the outside.

Congrats on the new purchase and going in a different direction. I think you will be happy. 496HO, great stock motor. You will love not turning a wrench all the time. 496s have such little maintenance compared to the blower motors that you had, you will forget how to open the Engine Compartment Hatch. And the fuel efficiency will be another bonus, fuel sippers in comparison to what you had.
