The particular section of water we are talking about isn't a "confused sea" it's a psycho ex with pms, drunk and pissed off, There are 2 footers from one direction 4 footers from another direction with 3 to 5 footers randomly intermixed with huge holes.

Actually what you described is a confused sea. Generally happens when the wind runs the compass but never actually knocks one direction down before shifting again.

Ya you are right but that is that section of water on our lake all the time. With the water depth all over the place the wind the. The fact that the islands are so close to mainland the water has no idea where to go.
