Hey jwws999, I feel you Bud! I am 64, and last summer when my Tiger re-hab stretched three months longer than promised, I went looking for a T/G. It took me thru 3 states and 6 boats that were "mint" to find my clean '97 in Tennessee. The search can be fun! I would urge you to maintain your standards, and keep looking for what YOU think is the right boat. When you buy an older boat there are often unseen issues to deal with. It is difficult to be strong come May, but for now stay the course. I found my T/G by pounding around on "Craig's List" for hours at a time. It was like that Geico "what is she wearing" commercial at 3 am some nights! Check Craigs List in areas like LOTO, Lake Cumberland, Lake Champlain, Great Lakes etc. Remember, some times " the best deals are the one's you don't make!"

Sitting is a relative term.

There are several I saw at the beginning of my search. They are all still "sitting" except one that I know of that sold. Turned out one of the "new" motors in it had a "noise. So, I guess the owner finally caved in and realized a boat that is sitting isn't a good thing,lol.
The other two that I went and looked at (both have been "sitting" too). both have issues from sitting. Stuck trim solenoids, etc. Come on sellers! Let's sell these things and get them back on the water again!.

2006-2008 38 Fountain or maybe a 2008 39 T/G ,,willing to go up to $50k for the right boat.

Im not understanding this post, I dont follow fountain pricing but those Gun's you listed are gonna be 135K and up
