What year was your 33 for speeds of 69-70?

my 2000 502 mag mpi would run 68-69, the engines had over 500 hrs on them........I think they raised the X ( drive height ) in 02....but don't know how much, should be a little faster with like power. The 05 with 525's would be a great package, not many made

This here^^^^^.
My 2000 is / was the same. 68-69 with 502's, loaded with weekend gear and beer. How ever I blow a engine end of this season at 535 hours

Talked to the owner of the '05 with the 525's. Over 500 hrs and the motors haven't been touched yet. If it needs full rebuilds soon, it's way too much money. What's 2 rebuilds, $15000 on top of the price?

Can you do any of the work yourself ?..............pricing all depends on who does the work,

...... and after you freshen them up, it’s still isn’t worth any more than something with black engines.... most of the buyers of these aren’t interested in upgraded power

Any time you buy a used boat, car, bike its a crap shoot on how long will it go before you have to dump some cash in it, buy within your means and expect to put some money in it at some point.........
