In case anyone is actually watching this thread….
Got the port motor mostly healthy and ran 76 MPH in 40* weather, freezing my ass off this fall.
Easy 80 w/the stock 225’s.
w/two hot rod motors I will build for it 👍🏻😎🏁🌴
I had some free time this fall so attacked the science project.
I thought my cabin galley ideas would make the cabin look smaller but I think it did the opposite.
I had to move the boat forward on the trailer to get the tongue weight back after the IO to OB conversion but I did and it worked.
Now tows straight and true at 80 MPH which is mandatory for long distance trips.

Got a nice surprise yesterday.
If you look close, you can see narrow, black trim pc’s running horizontally at the seam of hull to deck.
I thought it would make a nice little, final touch if I replaced it w/the same stained mahogany as in the galley.
Would also tie the main cabinetry in w/the stained doors on the anchor locker.
(that will hold the 15 gl water/ballast tank)
I pulled it out yesterday and discovered that is teak!
Who paints teak black?!?
Ran it through the planer to strip the paint it looks great!
