Headway.
Doing final rig.
As posted earlier, gave up waiting to splash until done/pretty and am going that rat rod route to make sure my science project even works.
Couple of issues surfaced slowing me down on this chapter.
Bought the boat w/understanding it had a new interior.
Got it home and understood that to mean, new vinyl.
The wood/structure is all crap!
So I’m tacking in the rear seat base and bolsters w/drywall screws holding them together.
For now.
Steering is done and only needs bled.
Battery cable arrives today so I can make them.
Control cables are in but not connected/adjusted.
Motor harnesses are in.
Fuel system built/installed/plumbed.
Trailer is done and pretty.
Bow hatches are fit but not installed. Aft/main needs deck built up around it which will take time.
Probably just pin them down for splash/testing.
After building wifey her deck/pool she has been leaving me to my own accord.
Not sure how much longer I’ll get away w/that.
Probably need one-two more full, uninterrupted (the big part) wk(s) to splash.
Plan is just a couple blasts at the local pond to confirm main systems before our water gets hard.
Then back to pieces.
I have two complete, spare motors and REALLY want to build a couple hot rod powerheads this winter.
Been too long since I tortured my hearing w/a die grinder 🤓
Heres some recent, random pixs.

Ran it today.
One sick motor but all in all, yee fkg ha!
Definitely a drivers boat!
Yikes.
The reputation of the 25’ Convincors chine walking and the twin OB versions hopping..., are not rumors 😎
After it did both, violently, multiple times, I pulled my head out of my ass and drove it like a 100 mph 19’ Allison OB.
Dial in some up trim at 30, pin the sticks to carry the bow and drive the *****!
Port motor has an intermittent ignition issue and is randomly dropping cylinders.
So at 37* I survived a 70 mph chill factor and called it a day.
Showed me I have work to do but w/the starboard motor at 6200 and the port at 5200 I still saw 70 on the meter and it flew pretty!
So w/no kill switch, no one else stupid enough to be on the water if I went for a swim, I was good w/that and geeked that my science project appears to have worked.

Nice work, darn good thing you didn't go for a swim!
I just bought a pair of outboards for my formula 233, I know nothing about outboards beyond my old 9.9.
What do you have for a steering system?

There’s pic details earlier in the thread.
That would be a great project and should run good with OBs.
