You are correct, I misunderstood. I was under the impression you meant 900/side, Carry on...

There's no way to write this nicely but why have you been tire kicking gladiators for like 7 years now!

[/QUOTE]

You caught me, biggest Gladiator tire kicker on OSO for about 7 years now. I've been regretting when I passed on a beautiful low hour Glad for $90k. I almost pulled trigger several times and now summer coming I would like to buy one but cant justify $160K. Maybe pay $120 max for a nice one but not looking to insult everyone with such a low offer compared to their asking price. No more 370SS as that sunk a year ago and the pontoon I replaced it is lack luster. Maybe this year is the year!!

The New price tag on a NEW Machine is really high, so the demand for clean, well built, newly powered and updated used machines is driving the market pricing. I think the cheapest TS Cigarette Top Gun out there for sale is around 105K and needs motors rebuilt, paint work, interior, dash help. Plus not many Sitdown (Some Staggered) boats built by any manufactures. Hotrod Styling.
Spot on comments, as the cost of the new rigs goes to the moon it's going to lift values of older models if they have been maintained and/or updated. Having just bought my first Cig CC I chased it for about a year and glad I pulled the trigger when I did, as the economy continues at a reasonable pace its going to move pricing trends upward. I just got back from Barrett Jackson in AZ and whether is sits in water or asphalt these non-essential products are trending in a positive direction if your already an owner. While Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale does not provide the best indication of the classic car market and there are numerous insane bidders with too much $ in pocket which limits judgement, prices were up near 10% from 2019. It may be more fools parting with liquidity but its a trend.

All prices for clean I/O performance boats are going up, I have seen a few side by side fountain 35's over 100K. The last year they made those was 2006!

Just a reminder - there are other sit-down options

That's ridiculous prices for a 32ft boat with likely a wet transom. Lol.

The asking price for this Maximus is very attractive. lot of boat for the money, compared to a Gladiator

Since I've taken the time to redo the Tiger, many have asked along the way if I would sell it. Everything I have is for sale, the cabin is being done right now so its a brand new boat (actually better) being as I blueprinted the bottom and made things better and stronger all around. Some people seem shocked that it would be in the low 300's for a 20 year old boat. However, its a 3rd of what a new one is and I'm pretty sure it is the fastest and nicest straight bottom 42 Tiger out there with a Myco trailer. also not as much to insure, so to me its a deal for someone.

Pretty sure that is what it sold for a few years back. Not sure I would want to own first generation 1075's that are 14+ years old now. Same dealer has the redone 45 Maximus also, with new 1100's and its 500K which is probably close to where you would be at with this boat after a repower/paint/interior update if you ever chose to go that route.

The boat came out great after you pulled it away from RIchies hack paint shop but you are in the same spot some of the Apache guys have gotten into. Redo a legendary boat only to find out there are very few buyers at that price point. Lots of guys will argue/try to rationalize that they can buy a 79-99K boat (same brand/size) and redo it their way for less and will either be back into your price range or end up with a significantly lesser finished product.
