The CDC estimates that as many as 56,000 people die from the flu or flu-like illness each year. SOURCES: National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases:

It`s all in how you present the facts .

A Chapter 11 filing can potentially enable a business owner to avoid liquidating the company. In fact, it can often be said that a Chapter 11 bankruptcy is in the best interests of the business and in no way a reflection of a poorly run company. PolitiFact took a look at all four of Trump’s Chapter 11 bankruptcies and determined that they were a result of business struggles largely beyond the billionaire-turned-presidential-candidate’s control."
Nothing against Mr. Trump or the specifics of his company bankruptcies, but if you've ever been on the other side of bankruptcy—meaning as a creditor as I have—the picture is a lot less rosy. (By the way, I read the same Politifact article and found it enlightening, too.) Also worth noting? Filing Chapter 11 is not as "quick and easy" as most people seem to think.

That said, Chapter 11 bankruptcy is among the laws of the land and, while it challenges everyone involved, it beats debtor prison.

One in seven tested positive by the time all the crew was tested. They were fortunate to get the tests for everyone and isolate those positive before all 3,700 were ill.

Your boat will have a new high score in it, in the salt water.

Back to LOTO for at least one post. Was there for a long Easter weekend. Since the weather turned cooler just before the weekend, boating was limited. We did boat Easter day, although it was only 64 out. Only saw a couple other boats. I was surprised the strip looked like a ghost town, Absolutely nobody down there. Only a few places are open, and nobody was at those stores. I was also surprised that Casablanca and Alley Cats have closed until further notice. I thought they would at least be making pizzas for takeout since those two places are pretty well known for great pies. Not much traffic at all on Rt 54 all through Lake Ozark and Osage Beach. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Hopefully we see things opening back up prior to Memorial Day. If not, my guess is some places might struggle to ever reopen.

It is a tough situation for most places here right now. Casa and Ally both could not justify ordering food for pizzas and such for just a few locals who are out of work right now. Redhead, The Office, Frankie & Louie's and Lil Rizzo's is about it for now until the local authorities allow the area to re-open... It Sucks !! Hey, but you can still buy cheap gas, groceries and liquor.. We spend Happy Hour at home or out for ride. Cold for now, but a warm up is on the way.

Helm, how is The Office neighborhood pub? Our place is in Country Club Cove, right near there, used to go to Ruthie Ds all the time for happy hour, but sadly they closed last year. May have to start heading over to The Office for HH and a quick bite.
