See, that's what they, you and me can exercise in this country. 1st & 2nd amendment rights. For 32 years I also worked with hard working Americans that carried rifles and pistols but they wore uniforms. Back at you with the salutation. Ed

Any nurse willing to travel to NYC to work the pandemic can make $4000 a week right now...........................but you can die.

This is a mayor that thinks with some common sense. she is spot on.
How many people will suffer, at the non-common sense mandates imposed with blanket shutdown orders?

Yes people will die from the virus, and yes people will die from the shutdown as well. pick your poison!

The only thing she needs to work on is her math. 128 deaths out of 3.2M people is nowhere near 1/2 of one percent of the population. More like 4/1000ths of one percent of the population, or 1.28 people for every 32,000 of the population. To her defense, she did say less than 1/2 of one percent. She makes a good case against the blanket approach we are taking. It will be interesting to see if more civil disobedience arises if some changes aren't made soon. It'll be like going back to the late 60s early 70s.

There has been a building boom in Michigan. Thousands of new homes built and sold in the $600,000 price range. Especially by Pulte. People were buying new cars and enjoying the great economy. Now they can't work or open their businesses. I'm fortunate in that I closed my business 4 years ago and am now retired or I'd be in deep 💩. Others are no doubt in deep trouble financially. We must get people back to work.
