SENA makes several as you describe for MC use. And they have a version that pops into hardhats that I bet would work as well.

The mic in the headsets make a big difference, I bought some extra headsets and they were muffled and all around sucked.. Returned those ordered another set thats was more expensive it they weren`t much better .
What ever mic my guy used is very good, very clear.

As far as hearing the engines I can still hear mine , I monitor issue via gauges and warning lights.
Once you "hear" an engine .. it`s too late anyway.
headsets are great, I woudln`t have another boat without em...

I'm trying to find something to order. These say that they require "1 Lithium Polymer batteries required. (included)." Does that mean that they are not rechargeable and i will have to install expensive new batteries with every outing?

Does this look like a good deal? Where do the cords plug into? Do they use batteries?

Rechargeable. We got them pretty wet in a storm to weeks ago and zero issues.

Just pulled the trigger on two of them. Will add two more if they work well.

Does anyone have a solution for the 70+ market? I’m having trouble keeping my eyelids attached even with aerodynamic sunglasses at 80+. I can’t hear anything at that speed but wind noise. The only good part is I can’t hear my wife telling me to slow down.

I found that flat lens sunglasses work way better than "aerodynamic" or wrap around. Like classic Ray-Bans. We used cheap ear muffs from Harbor Freight but I just ordered two of the ones above ^^ so that we can talk. My boat runs 80s and puts the wind directly in our faces unless I clamp on the wind screens. The wind is what was going to damage our hearing, not the engines.
