Anyone that “will not” vote for Trump because they don’t like his personality in spite of the great things he did for the country, needs to seriously evaluate their thought process!

I agree with Marginmn...I know of a few people that literally voted against Trump that were historically Republican. One guy is a 63 year old very wealthy business owner that has voted Rep since he was 18 but can't stand how crazy Trump is and voted Biden. I like what Trump did but I think the best is to move on from him.

As for the election, Bill Barr, Trump's very own AG said he found no evidence of widespread fraud. Not that there wasn't any fraud, just nothing that could be proven to overturn an election.. From a legal stand point, that's as good as no fraud. Election over, lawsuits played out, move on and transfer power or we are a Banana Republic. . But just last month one of Trump's most staunch supporters had a falling out with Trump. Rep Mo Brooks of Alabama says Trump is still conspiring to overturn the 2020 election. Which is against Federal law BTW. How effing nutty is that? He's still conspiring to overturn it and have Biden thrown out.

Barr also said that while DJT did some great things for the country, Trump has neither the strength of character nor the temperament to be POTUS. Barr encourages his Republican party to move the hell on from DJT. At what point do his supporters come to the realization that not everyone in the Republican party who Trump picked to work for him and left is part of some giant cabal?

Youngkin won a shocking Republican Governor victory in a Blue state (VA) by purposely distancing himself from Donald Trump. Being tied to DJT = Bad. No Mention Donald Trump = Win. Don't overthink this.
a petty narcissitic douchbag that has been right about everything since he ran for office... as for barr, its now coming out that he was being threatened by the dnc and going to be dragged into court and bankrupted the same way they did w flynn, so he caved.. the rest of the stuff we can agree to disagree on.

Ok, so let's say the Spring of 2024 rolls around and the primaries are upon us. Democratic policy has left the country in shambles. Desantis and Trump and neck are neck to the win the Republican primary. However, polls say that Desantis has a 90% chance of defeating any Democratic challenger they put up, while Trump only has a 40% chance.

Who are you voting for? Trump or Desantis?

Also, contrary to your post, Trump wasn't right about everything. His plot to have Mike Pence and members of Congress overturn the 2020 election: Sure as hell he wasn't right about that, was he?

DiSantis, hands down.

Virginia has only been a Blue state as of recently, and has been back and forth the same as about all other states. The recent trend to a more heavily Blue standing is due almost entirely to what should be considered outright election tampering by George Soros, who bought up about all the advertising space and airtime several years earlier, then sold it to candidates that fit his agenda. The recent election of Youngkin had far more to do with the hard Left turn the state has taken in recent years due to this Soros effect, most specifically over the state's approach to public schools in regards to Covid, gender confusion and CRT, than it had to do with anything related to Trump. Trump isn't near the poison seed you seem to think he is. For every NeverTrumper you can point to, we can point to just as many who faithfully voted for Biden and have since switched party affiliation. And a large portion of those who held their nose and voted for Biden instead have seen first hand why it was such a bad idea. The majority of the "lightning rod" effect you refer to is due mostly to the strobe effect efforts the MSM and DNC are implementing, which I think is waning significantly. As I said, those who voted against Trump have now had a taste of why doing so is a bad idea. As has been said, if it comes down to Trump and Biden or Harris (you KNOW it's a significant possibility), and conservatives vote against Trump, just to satisfy some self-appointed moral high ground image of themselves, they deserve anything and everything that falls out from it. It's just dumb.

I will also ask, since when is wanting the vote count to be valid "trying to have the election over turned"? We saw four straight years of the exact same thing Trump and his loyals doing now while he was in office.
I thought I was getting out of this thread....

Thanks. Brad.

Not sure of what to add really…. Virginia here (VB). South of Richmond and out west is red with exception of some areas of Hampton Roads. Virginia Beach definitely red.

Norther Virginia screws us. There is so much population centered there and most are in the seat of power or related to it in Washington.

Huge sigh of relief when Youngkin won it. And the media, Jesus H Christ, they’re were really pushing the idea that there was no way for Youngkin to win. And “oh look, more votes have been found in Fairfax County” right at the last minute. Suspect for sure. But. It enough to turn the tide back to blue (thank the lord).

Republicans should run their own media special - one about why “our very lives depend on depend on removing the far left.” (re Michelle Obama’s speech from last fall… have never ever seen anything like that in my 40 years or awareness).

Widespread, LOL. thats like like say as long as you only steal small stuff , you are not a thief. The only reason Trump won in 2016, was because no one thought he could win, and he was the only candidate that would lose to Killary, They were so sure she would win in a landslide that they didn't even bother to cheat. They wont ever make that mistake again. Dont write Trump off in 2024, nobody thought he had a chance in 2016 and look what happened. They even admitted not long ago(much like a Russian dictator) that what matters is who counts the votes. The electoral college is double edged sword, the bad side is that cheating is easier. Get control of counting votes in a few swing states and voter fraud does not have to be widespread. I guess the challenge is to win by such a huge majority that they cant cheat enough to overturn it. Before google buried the stats, there were 115million registered voters, and 155million votes cast. That is a lot to overcome. I seriously have my doubts that a Republican will ever occupy the whitehouse again. I also believe that these midterms will see an incredible amount of voter fraud. If the dems hold the house, I think it is fair to say that we have lost this country, and maybe it is time for an actual insurrection.

I dont think they would run against each other. Just because Pence wouldnt do what he should have doesnt mean it wasnt legally right. he had every right to decertify the electors. as a matter of fact the dems tried to do the exact same thing in 2016 but hillary conceded, which is why Trump never did. but once the cops started allowing people in the capital they all ran like the cowards they are. Pence is a politician and a coward, he didnt want his name attached to the "insurrection" or whatever made up term the libs are using to make it more dramatic. he had an obligation to the country, not his political career. look how fast lindsey graham turned on trump to cover his own rear, now he kisses it daily because trump is the key to the party much to the rinos chagrin. you dont like trump, i get it i dont hold it against you or fault you for it. all im saying is dont write him off yet, if you think biden got 81 million votes and won thats an issue. like someone had said, no one expected trump to win, so they didnt cheat. they were ready to win come hook or crook and used covid to do it. trump didnt get beat at the ballot box, he got beat by the mailbox.
