Last time gas was crazy high I was at the gas station dropping in about 50 gallons of fuel to run around a bit. Guy walked up and asked, "How do you put $4 a gallon gas in that thing?" Deadpan face, I turned and pointed at the filler....."It goes right here!"

The first time I completely repowered it (years ago), I did try to figure out the cost per outing that first summer it was done, using gas on the water, gas to get there, goodies, and dividing the repower costs, it was about $1800.00 a day. Cheap at twice the price!

We sleep on the cabin cruiser 3 nights a week, use the outerlimits on Sundays usually. Only used it 8 times last year. I won’t divide what I paid for them into this equation ever lol
this is why I built my shop.....................doesn't take long to pay for one

Nice - what size doors. If I ever lose the shop my dad and I share I’m gonna have to build another or sell all together and go barndominium.

You won't tell stories and have fond memories of the money you conservatively invested. The money you "wasted" on the other hand... Those times are irreplaceable. It's better to burn out, than fade away!

I sincerely believe that. My dad died at 48. Man I have some great memories. Live your life. It's too short to worry about things you can't control.

I hear ya, can’t drag the cabin cruiser home, 12’ wide 16’ high, and we’re not in our forever home yet, so I’m not building a shop to give someone else a few years from now.
Been trying to find a commercial building with several bays to rent or lease. Keep a bay for myself
